I've got this Technics SU-Z990 amplifier with a tape deck. As far as I can tell, the tape deck works fine, but I'm getting static from the amplifier. The static gets stronger when the bass is turned up, and is almost inaudible when set to minimum, so my best guess is that the static has something to do with the bass. I looked around a bit online but couldn't find anything about this particular problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
