Context: Since experiencing ongoing transient psychosis onwards from 2023, and losing my twin sister to suicide in 2024, I have been going through a host of mental hurdles that I won't get into.
After being admitted to hospital a few times recently due to suicidal and homicidal ideation, the psychiatrist insisted that he has to share my file with either the police or Family and Children Services (under Forms 1, 3 and 4 in Ontario).
I don't have children as I'm in my late 20s without a partner, but I do work with children, so I'm very anxious about whether or not there's any way for the file sharing to get in the way of my work... For example, is there any knowing if or how FACS might get involved - like would they red flag me and notify my employers?
I'm hoping someone can help and that this will be a useful forum for this... Thanks!
