Question about Clay.

Hey hey folks! Recently started crafting again and bought some modelling airdry clay from my local shop and I've had some issues with it, the clay itself was fine but it's a texture thing. The clay drying on my hands when crafting and my fingers touching, the feel of the clay when dry, I've never been someone who had issues with texture of anything but this set my skin on edge, was just trying to paint the clay and i had to throw it all out, i just can't stand touching the clay so i was wondering if someone could point me towards a different (and affordable) type of clay I was looking at polymer clay you can put in the oven but there are so many brands and types I got a little overwhelmed by the available choices. To explain what i do, i bought some action figures and make weapons and armour for them and also dioramas / houses and mostly for props and the armour i like using clay for extra details so it needs to be a somewhat lightweight clay that doesn't dry to heavy. I've been looking around and see the usual but that all tends to be quite pricey (As crafting supplies usually are) So was wondering if anyone here could point me into a direction. Thanks in advance!

New to the hobby, interested in making an OC from a blank and in need of advice.

Hey hey folks!
I'm about to buy my first "real" action figure and need some help figuring out what's best for what I am trying to do.
I've done my research as best I could and managed to bring it down to two figures the Notaman NT - 01 Or a Boss Fight Studio Epic H.A.C.K.S. Blanks.
They seem kinda similiar and since this will be my first action figure since the 90's, and am interested in making OC characters i think a blank action figure will make the most sense, i decided to come to these forums hoping someone with experience/knowledge will be able to help me make a decision.
One point against the Notaman is about the fact it seems harder to get in Europe (I'm Dutch from NL) than the Epic Blanks one.

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance!
