Would anyone be able to advise on what color they would use to make the action figure on the left the same color as the face on the right? I'm looking for a more movie accurate look to paint the face with.
Looking for a whiter look on the right as opposed to the yellow look on the left.
I decided to do comic black noir from the boys and I thought it would be simple. I’m willing to take any criticism so I could do better on my next project.

This was my second attempt at painting a head sculpt and I’m very happy with how it turned out. Kept it simple. Sculpt is by Tony Mei. I love the TDKR Superman figure but I just wanted something different for the face and the Ed McGuinness style fits his chunky body perfectly. Hardest part was matching the skin tone. Months of searching, waiting, and painting practice paid off!
Quick paint I did of one of my custom Spawn head sculpts. 3D sculpt and paint by me. I’ve always wanted a cool 2000’s comic era unmasked Spawn look.. especially with creepy crawlers.
So i'm just wondering, what's the tallest female action figure? I was thinking of using figma for a custom. The thing is, figma is kinda small... So i'm wondering, are there any tall female action figures with great poseability?
Hello! Im really looking on advice since this would be the first figure I would customize!! Since I've never done this before, im not sure what I'll need. My boyfriend got me this Izuku Midoriya Noir Edge Figure, and while I love it so much, I really wish it came in color! Because of that I want to paint it, but im not sure what paint to use and stuff like that. Does anyone have recommendations? Or if anyone is willing to paint him for me for a reasonable price please let me know! Thanks :)
This figure was my most anticipated Marvel Legends, however the articulation is not very good. My goal is to make it look more like the Frank Miller comic. I used the astonishing Wolverine to make this torso. I think I need to get the shoulders to sit deeper tho.. tbh this is my first attempt and I want to find a torso with even more range so this is far from finished
For those new to customizing and painting, here's one tip I wish I had when I started. I didn't have any art background so I grabbed some paint and began customizing. *Tip* obtain and learn to use a wet pallet. Best tool I've ever gotten. They are cheap and do so much for keeping paint from drying out. Plus you can come back the next day and not have to mix and recreate a color. Much better than thinner or water. Maybe someone will post their best tip or tool?
I'm gonna add about 4 or 5 coatings of primer and paints on this thing (with an airbrush) before painting on the weblines but im not sure if the "canals" of the weblines are gonna survive after all that paint.
The layering is gonna go like this:
Gray primer
Black undercoat for the blue parts, white undercoat for the red
Metallic blue for the blue parts, red for the red
Gloss coat (to make the surface slick and to act as a barrier so the red paint doesn't get stained if I mess up the weblines)
Then after that I'm gonna paint on the weblines with thinned out black paint by hand.

Started with a 6” Jakk’s DK figure base. Replaced with a 3D printed head. All repainted.
I have the black horn, preordered the deluxe next wave, but Mezco prices in Aus are crazy, so imma make myself one to fit in
Neck is kinda long, but its growing on me. I want to figure out how to get the mezco feet on this body, for the toe joints mostly. Any thoughts on making the proportions better?
