For context, this is about how Zenless is going to a new region for the next part of the main story once again, like how S2 took place in Waifei.

This time, it's Roscaelifer.

A lot of people don't like this decision. In my opinion, I would rather keep the proxy siblings living in sixth street but also going outside to specific locations for a day or a few days when necessary (like in S1CH4), however I think that this has potential, and I got some ideas to make it work.

  1. Don't "lock in" to the new region.

As in, the story should be written so that the new region isn't like a new long-term accommodation (like how the proxy siblings were living in Suibian Temple for all of S2). To make this easier, the new region shouldn't be so far from sixth street that proxy siblings need to live there.

  1. Not so much emphasis on the new region, and more emphasis on the story and the hollows.

The start of S2 took a lot of time ushering us into Waifei. This kind of makes sense since it's a new region, but it doesn't need to be so long.

  1. Make sure the hollows feel distinct from the new region.

With the way that S2 designed the Lemnian Hollow so that it could be accessed via the overworld map instead of the HDD, the Hollow felt too safe and too much like the world outside of the Hollow. The Hollows are meant to be dangerous and volatile, some place that you wouldn't enter unless you had a good reason, which you should leave as soon as possible, and is so unpredictable that anyone entering would need a proxy (instead of that overworld map that doesn't change)

  1. Make the user interact with the HDD.

We now have that functions menu that was added in 2.5 to quickly access things like the Remodelling shop and the music shop. This should also be updated to have access to the HDD, even if one of the proxy siblings is in the Hollow in person. This makes the HDD feel necessary instead of redundant, and since the proxy siblings need it to establish a connection between the Hollow and the outside world, then this necessity should be felt by the user.

Hopefully, I articulated my points well enough for you to understand. What do you think of my proposal?
