I just took delivery of a Pete Anderson Eastsider and I have several questions.
#1 This guitar came from a major national vendor that advertises a "55-point Inspection". But the nut on this guitar is blown on two of the six strings. I have a call in to my Sales Rep and will ask him about this on Monday.
And the ends of the frets really need to be dressed, but I don't really expect this on a $1400 guitar. Are other Reverend owners here happy with the neck and fret work on their guitar?
#2 I was interested in this guitar because it is supposed to be made of Korina wood. I have other Korina guitars, and this Eastsider is really light-weight compared to my other Korina guitars (Gibson and Martin). I see that the Eastsider is chambered, but I don't see a weight spec. This guitar weighs a LOT less than my other Ash and Alder Teles.
Also, the "grain" on the body looks like contact paper, not real wood. Is that because of the matte finish, or is this guitar really made of chambered solid Korina hardwood?
#3 The pickups sound pretty good, does anyone know who Reverend gets them from? I saw another post here that somebody thought his guitar had Lollars.
Thanks in advance.
