I have a couple of different saws that are all essentially variations on the standard teeth for ryoba (rip cut, cross cut) but I find these a little limiting. For example, the rip cut teeth aren't aggressive enough for rough work so it feels like I'm sawing forever, cutting tenons with the cross cut teeth is a struggle. It's frustrating because when I look online it seems like everybody is just selling their own version of these same two options
Are there more Japanese equivalents of a really aggressive rip saw (low TPI, large gaps between the teeth) or tenon saws?
