Curious if there are any fics where the mc intentionally starts and/or takes over some kind of organized crime group, and running that is a main component of the plot.

Doesn't necessarily have to be the focus from the very start but at some point. Doesn't have to get into the very day to day gritty constantly, either.

I can think of Kaleidescope and possibly Flames off the top of my head. Another Shitty SI Fic too, I guess. One other but it and the author have a major white supremacy problem.

The fic that inspired this was surprisingly The Butcher's Tax. Gave me just enough hints of it when she took over the teeth that I wanted more.
