No audio with new soundbar / clueless about Atmos on LG TV Plex app

I just set up a new Bose smart ultra soundbar with my LG C4 OLED TV and it's been working great with our set top box, but today I tried watching a downloaded (MKV h265) file for the first time since the switch, and as soon as i hit play on Plex it pops up a message saying "Dolby Atmos via audio device", but then I get no sound. I'm using HDMI CEC connection for audio. The file only has one Audio track.

I was excited to try Atmos but I'm not married to the idea, so I'm wondering if I switch back to optical audio rather than using the HDMI connection if that'll solve my issue, or what settings I can potentially adjust to address this? I've read that the Plex app on LG TV's doesn't support the True HD but I don't know a lot about the technology so I'm not sure what limitations that gives me. I've already switched my TV's audio handling from Auto to Passthrough but any other suggestions or reality checks are appreciated!

Our Saros 10 has been telling us the side brush is "end of life" for 6 months or so now, and it's starting to look the part. Has anyone compared the OEM to the off-brand stuff on Amazon? I guess I'm wondering about other consumable parts too - large mop pads, spinning mop pads, vacuum brushes, etc. as they wear out. And even the vacuum dust bags, we bought another pack of OEM which seemed a bit steep, but happy to pay a few extra dollars every few months to not be dealing with other issues.

Thanks!
