I’m here to finally say that my last day at LOWES is at the end of May after being there since September 2024. I got hired as a part-time head cashier after a couple months. They gave me full-time closing head cashier, then I was offered mid shift head cashier while being STILL being scheduled mornings, mids and nights.( which is not the mid shift schedule that the previous head cashier that had before me ) also forgot to mention there are 3 full time head cashiers( including me) . I’m am the ONLY head cashier required to work 3 shifts. They kept telling me I’d have a mid schedule when they hire more part timers.. lies.
I told them I wanted to go part time and one manager said of course then my store manager claimed that in order for me to go part time I had to switch stores…. So I said no problem I just won’t work here anymore, and might I say I cannot be any happier. This place has severely deteriorated my mental health based off the incompetence from not only customers but co workers as well.
