So I’m 9 weeks and have scheduled my 12 week appointment. So I work in a clinic and the women’s provider I will see also is in family practice (I work in family practice). So my co workers will see I’m on there for that appointment soon anyways because we all prep charts a week or two ahead and this appointment is in 3 weeks. What would you do? Just tell people before they see it or hope they don’t notice? I’m not worried about people knowing but it is kind of early in my pregnancy so was hoping to wait a bit longer.

I’m in a church group that meets once every two weeks on the weekend. In this group are people of many ages including another couple in their 30s. This couple has been trying to conceive for I think nearly two years. We actively pray for them to be able to have another baby. Well I’m 9 weeks pregnant and I would like to share at our next group meeting but I’m not really sure if I should tell this friend privately or what the best thing to say is. I care for them very much and I don’t want to hurt their feelings. I know she will be happy for us I just want to make sure I do this in a good way to let her process this. I don’t want to tell the entire group at once and not give her an out if she’s initially upset and needs time. Please let me know your thoughts and what you would do. Thank you!
