Are today's lawnmower robots really trustworthy?
I’ve been keeping an eye on robotic lawn mowers for quite some time now. Personally, I’ve always used a push mower, and after all these years, I’ve actually grown somewhat accustomed to maintaining the lawn by hand.
However, times are changing, and so is technology. So, to claim that I’m not tempted by these high-tech gadgets would be a lie; honestly, whenever I see people in subreddit posting about how they’re sipping a beer while watching their robotic lawn mower do the work, I do feel a twinge of envy.
On the flip side, though, I’ve also seen plenty of people complaining about various issues cropping up, and even heard stories of people spending a small fortune on a robotic mower only to have it "brick" on them.
So, what I’d like to know is: can today’s robotic lawn mowers truly be trusted completely? Or, to put it another way, is the current technology behind these devices really as reliable as the company claim?
