My [21F] boyfriend [19M] won’t stop repeating me/himself
Hi I am [21F] and my bf [19M] repeats certain words or phrases over again Or he’ll repeat a sentence or word i’d say or even a noise i’d make and it makes me annoyed or confused or angry. We have been dating for 5 months and I’ve talked to him about it and asked him why he does it and he just says he doesn’t know either. He knows I don’t care for it.
When I say something like “omg that person sucks.” He will be like “yea that person so bad (name), like they’re so trash they don’t even know what they’re doing. They’re just so bad, they need to quit...” And will continue to drag it out for a seconds and I don’t respond because of how annoyed I might get.
When he came to visit me in my dorm in college, I was cleaning and he was following me around.. in my room… I had to tell him he could play his game or do something instead of following me inside a room.
He does this thing where he’ll pull on his bottom teeth with his pinky fingers. I’ll ask him what he’s doing and he would ask what I mean or don’t really notice he’s doing it either. When we first met (4 months ago) he never really did these things and after about two months this is an everyday thing he does in our conversations and it’s getting frustrating.
There’s certain things like these things that he does and I’m slowly losing it and don’t know what to do even after we have talked. What other way can I communicate to him that this bothers me? Is there something deeper to this that I’m missing?
