Good evening everyone,

So to get to the point. Just graduated a 2 year school now transferring to a 4 year school. Didn’t know what I wanted to do, but I’m leaning and more interested in the military the more I research. I also don’t have the money to pay for school especially a 4 year… (so I’m also looking at tuition aid). Now this is where the advice comes in. I was thinking of doing ROTC and I called them and they told me that I should look at other programs because I already missed 2 years. I was also told to do the national guard or reserves (part-time). Obviously if I am getting a degree I would like to use it, so therefore, at some point after obtaining my degree I would like to commission. So I’m just looking for others and their advice who can give me a better understanding and what type of recruiter I should start talking to now. I also was reading about the SMP partnership program with the rotc so I don’t know if that is also in option.

Anyway… if needed for a clear guide path: Army is the branch I’m looking at and I would most likely be active duty after graduating.

I am interested in the Intel (35) and was told to do Air Force. (Besides MOS I just need advice with the first thing right now.)

Thank you.
