Is it not my right to ask my potential about her past.
I'm 28 Male, never been in any sort of haram relationship. My family is looking for a potential match and the primary condition for me is that I want my spouse to be the same and never been in any relationship.
I had a discussion with one of the matches and I asked about past relationships and all. Her answer was : No, I have never been in such. But right after that she asked me whether she can talk to her male friends which are like brothers to which I said No. I don't want any male friends and she got offended and after 2 days ahe called me Toxic and she said you should not have asked about my past relationship that early. And she is trying to call off all this which is fine. But have I done something wrong ? Should I not ask my future spouse about their past as it's something which bothers me a lot.
I'm so much scared of being married to someone who has done zina in the past. This scares me a lot, keeping in mind what's going around in this generation. Please advise me.
