Wife thinks I’ve lost it
A few days ago, my (62M) wife (65F) tells me that she thinks I don’t think the same way and maybe a have a brain tumor. This shocked me. The person loosing it may not realize it. I booked an appointment with a physician. Then I wondered if there was an app that could reliably test me for cognitive function. I downloaded Boston Cognitive BoCA on my iPhone. I took the test on my phone in a room full of people. They didn’t know what I was doing.
So, the results said I was in the top 99.9% and got a literally perfect score. Naturally, I felt better. But, I decided to keep my appointment. It’s only an App. I usually drive a Tesla, and like to use the self driving. So, you need to put your destination in. She complained about this. We were driving this evening in a location I don’t know well. We’re on vacation. She proceeds to berate me saying I shouldn’t use the gps. She had a few drinks. Me too, but I don’t drink like she does. Anyway, I don’t understand why she would hassle me while I’m driving at night in a new place. But, even after the test I told her about, she still thinks I have some sort of brain tumor because I use gps in a rental car on vacation in a place I don’t know. She’s very distracting and giving me the business while I’m driving at night.
I’m trying to understand why she’s doing these things. We’ve been married 36 years. This situation just came up this week.
