the tag says hypothetical because 1. i am a woman 2. this happened to my friend not me. my friend has been in a committed 2 year relationship with a guy. there were never problems with infidelity or anything of the sort. they broke up recently and when i asked what the reason for the breakup was i was told by his best friend that the main reason was because she had a mustache (mind you ive known her for 4 years and have never even noticed it). when i say moustache i mean the type every single woman has- some decide to shave it, some don’t. the day before the breakup he also apparently ran into some girl under his uni (they were complete strangers) and after a 15 min long conversation he decided that she’s definitely the one. he proceeded to tell his best friends that these were the two reasons he knew he has to break up with her. men of reddit- what’s your opinion on breaking up a two year healthy, loving relationship because of the fact that she has a moustache just like any girl but decides not to shave it. edit: we’re all 21 years old, forgot to mention.
