I have an air purifier (WINIX 5300-2) that I occasionally run on turbo mode in a 132 sq ft room inside my house for PM 2.5 filtration purposes and I just replaced the HEPA filter inside of it. For reference, the rest of the house does not have dedicated air purifiers running in it. Since replacing the filter I have noticed my door rattles on what is seemingly a somewhat rhythmic cycle while it is on its highest mode. This has not happened in the past (that I am aware of) and the air purifier is about 2 years old. The bottom of the door is sealed but there are the possibility of small gaps along the rest of the doorframe.
I need to run the air purifier periodically on this mode for my needs & if I’m creating negative pressure I’d like to know how to equalize it so either negligible or no air outside the room is getting in. Unfortunately opening the door or a window is not an option. Any advice is appreciated.
