Hey everyone,

I’m really into dudes-on-a-map. I played original Cyclades and loved it. Now I own Inis KS version.

I’m looking for a physical game with great miniatures, so I checked out Blood Rage, Rising Sun, and Ankh, but I’m stuck. My group is usually 3–6 players, and we typically have around 3.5 hours to play (sometimes a bit more).

• I’ve basically ruled out Blood Rage since I’ve read Inis is a better version of that style, so it feels redundant.
• Rising Sun looks amazing, but I hear it can be slow and very negotiation-heavy.
• Ankh looks great too, but the merge mechanic really puts me off.

So:

• Rising Sun or Ankh, which would you pick in my case?
• Or should I skip both?
• Any other dudes-on-a-map (or maybe even another genre) with great minis I should look at?
