My Bf [23 M] thinks that I [23 F] should have to give him constant updates when I am out with my friends
TLDR: My boyfriend and me have a very constant argument because when I’m with friends I don’t go on my phone and he thinks im being sneaky by not doing so/ giving him updates.
Full story: so me and my boyfriend have been together for about 7 months at this point and I’m starting to get very fed up. I have told him numerous times when I’m hanging out with my friends I try to be present in the moment and not on my phone, I have tried to be better giving him texts here and there but overall I still just want to actually be in the moment and with my friends and don’t think I should have to text or snap or send a video of every single update of my night it feels very controlling and then when I told him I will not be texting him anymore when I’m out he got mad and said “alright I’ll stop talking about it and you can go cheat in peace.” What? Like overall I feel like this is a lack of trust on his end mind you I never expect him to text me constantly when he’s out at all I actually try to not text him so he can actually hangout with his friends…idk what to do ??
