Routine -

1.Wet hair

2.Loreal Elvive dream length split end sealing shampoo

3.Brush wet hair with shampoo in it. (I have loose curls, so I still use a brush.)

4.Rinse

5.Loreal Elvive damage erasing mask

6.Rinse

7.Loreal leave-in shampoo

While this routine has defined my curls, it's come at the cost of significant volume. My hair is very flat and uniform now. I'm wondering if it's just because of my haircut and it'd be improved if I get layers or something. Since last time I cut my hair, I just asked or a shoulder cut. From a hair dresser that definitely didn't know how to work on curly hair, because I ended up with something much shorter than a shoulder cut.
