33 years old, female — About 3-4 weeks ago, I had a sore throat only on my right side. The pain is gone now, but my right tonsil still looks larger than my left and remains unchanged.
I think the swelling could have always been there because I’ve never really looked at my tonsils closely before.

A while ago, I had a sore throat on the right side and it went away within a week or so. But now I’ve noticed that one of my tonsils is still swollen. It’s been like this for a while and doesn’t seem to be shrinking. Maybe it always looked like this and I just never noticed?
It doesn’t really hurt when I swallow, just a tiny bit if I press on the roof of my mouth. But I’m curious if anyone else has had a tonsil that stayed “bigger” like this even after a sore throat cleared up.
Any thoughts or similar experiences?
