I'm too scared to play PVP
How can I overcome fear of PVP in games?
A PVE game I play a lot recently got a PVP update, and I cant bring myself to join in, I've just been circling around the PVP zone. I want to be nonchalant and just not gaf what others think but that's easier said than done, I just get so embarrassed. It really doesn't help that your deaths get announced to the whole server, I'm also max level and my character is really edgy so its highkey embarrassing to be seen getting crapped on.
I haven't even joined in yet but i keep dreading the thought of losing 20 times in a row and just having my name blasted server wide 20 times. It's not just this game, I feel a weird sense of shame and extreme stress in every PVP situation, its like a humiliation ritual every time. Any advice for how to overcome this issue? I probably wont ever be a fan of PVP but id like to not feel so dreadful whenever I'm faced with it.
