i travel around the country and i prefer seeing the “less touristy” parts of cities. i’m from overtown Miami, iykyk, and i’ve seen things that made me question the existence of god himself. that being said, being from the hood and growing up obsessing over chicago and nyc culture and music, the differences in our neighborhoods also opened a whole different world of curiosity. that also being said i’ve been to parts of LA, chicago, dallas, and i’ve been okay for the most part, (chicago was sketchy af lol) but with NYC personality being a very upfront and i’d even say passive aggressive to begin with, what are my chances of being stopped in Brownsville? I am of mexican descent, not short, not tall, not big, not small, i have tattoos down my arms and neck and a cross with an initial on the side of my face. i won’t be looking for any trouble, it will be a stroll through the neighborhood and im out of there.
