I did really well with WBC Ozzie to start the season. I know he has one of the better swings in the game but as “better” cards came out I wanted to try them. I tried the new cityscapes Dozier. He was ok. I tried Jackie and for whatever reason can’t hit with him. I tried the 91 Altuve and had mixed results. Maybe it’s due to the lack of attention being paid to any position besides SS and LF but Ozzie still seems like a top 3 option even as a 89 overall. I slapped a diamond fielding mod on him and unless something changes I don’t see myself switching him in the foreseeable future.

I was sitting at 4-1 in Weekend classic. My division was only giving the reward pack to players with 5 and 6 wins. Played a guy who had 6 hits below 90 mph in the first 5 innings. Everything I hit hard went straight to one of his players. Lost 4-0 and no reward pack. Dang it.

Just pulled a dupe of Yordan. Can sell him now for 59k but considering how much he’s currently mashing does he go 90 after the update? I’d like the extra stubs so I think I’m gonna wait and see. Thoughts?

In a year where SDS is clearly making an effort to force players to play online, probably due to how poorly the game works right now, by making the offline grind extremely monotonous with very little new offline grindable content (conquest, diamond quest, mini seasons), they come out with an announcement that there’s an enormous cheating scandal that is running rampant throughout their game 😂. I’m sorry if you’re one of those people that usually play offline and have been forced to play online only to run up against a bot or someone who gets perfect perfects every swing. You can always go back and play WBC or New Threads mini seasons for the 500th time.
