Apparently a waitress told my a family member that she has personal connections to the Tofte family and that due to Roger’s death, they will be closing permanently in September and selling the property.

This does not ring true to me. Wouldn’t they announce this as the last season when they opened in the spring so folks could make a plan to get there? I see no hints of this online anywhere.

Does anyone know if this rumor has legs? I’m inclined to dismiss it, but it’s such an oddly specific thing to say.
