I had my last alteration and bustle appointment in March and my seamstress said to try my dress on two weeks out to ensure all still is good. Issue is, I don’t have anyone around to help me try on my dress as all friends and family live out of state and obv cannot have my fiancé help. I tried texting my seamstress to see if I could stop by but didn’t get a response- do I just hope for the best or also give her a ring? I feel bad since I won’t be technically paying her for just checking but don’t want something to go awry day of. Has anyone had any major issues pop up with their dress two weeks out?
