Ladies perspective on the amount of gold given in Indian weddings !?
Hey everyone , 27M , requiring perspective of Indian females
I’m mostly looking to get married by a year times or two - will be married in India ( but currently living away)
Not looking at answers that are going to be just ask the girl - I’ve asked her and she’s obviously not going to be telling - she says even if gold is not given it’s fine , and I can’t ask her father as it’s not right - don’t want to come off as too cheap
I had a genuine question how much is usually given to the girls as gifts usually from the boys side in terms of gold. Genuinely question because of the rise in price of gold and increasing difficulty of accumulating wealth
I’m looking to ask only to not seem cheap or anything infront of the girls family , for a middle class family is giving 150-250 grams of gold fine ?
This will ofc be just the gifts from my side and not my families side and does not include electronics , ladies makeup wallets purses other accessories
