Hi, currently I have 15 pro, but I am looking for new iPhone.

I tried pro model only once and don't care about cameras, promotion or gaming. I got used to dynamic island though.

I want mainly nice smaller form factor, good battery and better reception than my current phone. 17e seems to check all those poins.

I would go with base 17, but dislike camera button and bigger dimensions.

But still have some questions.

Is reception on 4g better than 15 pro?
Would coming back to notch be hard? I dont care about live scores, etc, just find di more esthetically pleasing in general and for various face id animations.
Why are there so little cases for 16e or 17e? Will it get better?
Is face id same as in 17? Meaning exact same tech and reliability.
Should I downgrade more to 16e if I dint care about magsafe too?
