Would you buy a “certified” Tempurpedic?
To make a long story short-
My wife and I purchased a Firm Tempur Pro-Adapt 2.0 (King) from Mattress firm at the beginning of May. For around $4000 USD. We liked the mattress in store and of course when it came home it was firmer but we are still liking it. For some reason I decide to get on FB Marketplace and I see a listing for the same exact mattress I bought but from a mattress firm about 20 miles further down the road. He said his wife hates it etc. Showed me the receipt and they bought it 1 day before me. Turns out he got his mattress as a certified pre owned and only paid around $2900 USD. He is currently willing to sell it for $2300 USD ( I offered him $1900). I can still return my mattress to the store but would that be a mistake? Is the cost savings worth the warranty risk down the road? What would you do?
