2017 Honda Civic , Honda dealer says all four rotors are bad , warped and metal flaking off , but the brake pads are OK . They say its because the emergency brake was not being used regularly

Its a friends car , she said that's what they told her at the dealer. They said because of the design of the brake system you need to use the emergency brake often or this will happen , they said its a common problem .

The brakes were making a rubbing noise (not very loud) when she first got the car , the dealer said the brakes were OK at that time . Now there is also a vibration when braking

I never heard of brakes going bad for that reason , this does not seem like normal wear to me.

By the way , she got an extended warranty when she bought the car , and it has not expired yet

It was a certified vehicle .

What do you guys think ? I already told her to call an independent mechanic and ask them about it .

Any additional info or opinions you guys have on this would be greatly appreciated
