I am probably going to get crucified for adding another gym crush post but I will try to be brief. I’ve had a crush on a guy at the gym for a bit. This past January we were in the rec room, I was wearing a tshirt with my high school on it & he asked me about it. Turns out we went to the same school. We talked about a few things, asking questions back & forth. We’ve had a decent amount of conversations since then. Our gym schedule is fairly the same. He’s attracted for sure but is he interested? I just always assume if a guy is interested he will let you know.. He’s fairly quiet in the gym, talks to a few people, he’s not the flirty guy chatting up all the women, at least from what I’ve seen. Here’s some interactions we’ve had that stood out to me. Tell me what you guys get from it… do you think him commenting on my tshirt was intentional, is he just being nice..? If you think he’s interested, should I say something, should I wait for him…?
Eye contact & smiles of course… a few intense eye contact moments. Looking at each other in the mirror for a few seconds longer than normal. There was one time we hadn’t seen each other in a month or so, the first day we saw each other after that we just gazed at each other.. we were walking toward each other by chance, he was already looking at me. When I saw him I smiled & just stared, so did he. We talked for a few seconds & went about our way.
Conversations have gotten longer, somewhat more in depth. We talked about what we both do for work, vacations we’ve been on & things we have coming up, he will ask me what I’m working on in the gym that day etc.
He has asked me about my gym days before. “Will you be here tomorrow…” type questions. He will give me his days sometimes in return. But we won’t lock in a time…?
One of the first times we spoke after our initial conversation I was pretty impressed that he remembered my name… the bar is low I know lol
