I’m setting up Voice AI for clients who already have their own Calendly accounts and don’t want to change their current setup.
Right now, when the AI uses the Appointment Booking action, it books into Google Calendar and creates a regular event. The formatting, event type, and Google Meet link look different compared to when someone books directly through the client’s Calendly link.
My question is:
Is there a way to make the Voice AI book directly into the client’s existing Calendly event type so it matches the formatting and behavior of their current booking link?
Or is the standard/best practice to have the AI qualify the lead on the call and then just text them a Calendly booking link at the end?
I’d prefer the AI to book directly (removes a step for the prospect), but I don’t want to mess with the client’s existing Calendly setup.
What are most people doing in this situation?
