I call my kids (12 and 10) each night before they go to bed when they are at their mom’s.
Tonight my kids were fighting over the phone to talk to me. ❤️ They were both excited to tell me about their day and what they want to do when they are with me next weekend.
Damn onions.
My divorce will be final soon. I have 50/50 custody. When I don’t have my kids I call them each night before they go to bed.
I was talking to my daughter (she is 10) the other night. There was a lot of commotion in the background; couldn’t tell what my ex was saying. And my son was arguing with my daughter. Anyway, talked to her for a little bit. Told her good night and get ready for bed.
Five minutes later she called back. I asked what was wrong? She said nothing, she just didn’t get to talk to me long enough. 😭 Dam onions.
