Starting treatment for lichen today. But also believe i have CV

Feeling so defeated about how my postpartum experience has been. Im 16 MONTHS postpartum but developed yeast and bv infections ever since I stopped bleeding at 6 weeks pp. After months of antibiotics and probiotic suppositories I got my first negative cultures for bv and yeast! Plus my microbiome test came back at 100% good bacteria and 0% bad. Pretty sure I over did it on the probiotics and probably now have CV. Lactobacillus crispatus is the ONLY bacteria I have now. Literally nothing else. You'd think id be happy to see those results but now im left with the OVERGROWTH of Lactobacillus.

As for the lichen, the nurse noticed the white area and she mentioned it could be a possibility. She sent in the prescription for clob cream. Im supposed to use it twice a day for 2 weeks. If symptoms dont improve, a biopsy will be done.

At this point I have no idea what would be best. I want to get back to normal and want this cream to help. But I also dont want it to work bc I dont want to have lichen. But I also dont want to have to go through the biopsy process. I can't believe I got rid of the bv and yeast but im still not out of the woods. Just venting i guess. If anyone has gone through something similar. Im lucky my symptoms are quite minimal with only an occasional itch that lasts for 1 second. Its not like I feel like I have to scratch it. And occasional burning on the vulva after I pee. (No uti)

After a year of reoccurring bv and yeast, the term "lichen" was mentioned. NSFW link in comments.

After I had a baby, I had reoccurring bv and yeast for 16 months. I finally got my microbiome together and got my first negative bv and yeast in over a year. These results just came in a couple days ago. I told the nurse know my symptoms have definitely improved however im still expirencing an occasional itch. Mostly on the left side labia. She kinda rubbed the area and noticed there's some white-ness that didnt rub off. Thats when she said a possibility of lichen. She decided to send a prescription for clob cream. (No biopsy taken). Im supposed to use twice daily for 7 to 14 days. If symptoms do not improve, I go back. I thought I just had some irritation due to my microbiome suffering for so long. Now im scared and upset at this other thing to deal with. I used vulva balm from medicine mama hoping that would help soothe and heal the tissue. But I just had a pretty intense itch so im not feeling confident in it. Is there a chance it not be lichen and the steroid makes things worse? Is there any harm in giving it a try? Link has NSFW photo of the appearance currently. I did apply the balm which is yellow in color

That word was thrown out at my appointment today. Being tested again for BV and yeast. Its been a reoccurring problem for me. But today she mentioned the possibility of lichen. I have primarily left side itching. I do have whiteish spot on that side. I can get some to wipe away but I think It remains there always. Im so worried now
