The thing about paid services

Here's the thing, many of us get into piracy because we are not at a point in our life to afford it or the paid alternative is super capitalist and pirated sites provide for user experience as a priority and ad revenue for income.

If sites like crunchyroll actually listened and put effort into making a good quality product and offered good subs, good choice, steady servers many people would naturally begin to pay for the good service.

It's the same with Steam for gaming, they are a massive success and don't treat pirating games as a priority to target because if they focus on

Now i am not a child and make decent monies i wouldn't at all mind paying for my anime if I knew that i was getting my moneys worth and supporting creators,

I believe even piracy has its place in society for those to access when they aren't able to afford or alternatives are predatory but i also believe if people feel that something is good or fair they will naturally move to pay (minus the few who prefer to live life cheapskate, each to their own)

Simple rules for a good product:

Don't sell data to Israel.

Don't treat the consumer as the product, they are the client.

Produce quality and tools that actually make sense and improve the user experience without encroaching on their privacy.

Listen and communicate clearly when your clients are upset.

And then? You'll make more money than you'll need.
