Broken wrist. What now!

I recently broke my wrist and strained some ligaments and I’m walking around with a cast so that it’s very difficult to move my fingers. And of course it’s my right hand. Any ideas at all about how to get around this impediment of holding a brush and painting.? Or am I just stuck until this until it heals and the cast comes off?

This may seem a little silly to some but four of us in our late 70s are planning a weeklong trip to a VRBO cabin in Santa Fe. We plan on doing some of the usual activities, hiking tourist thing that sort of thing but one of the things we really like doing is just hanging out together and doing stuff. So I was wondering what people might recommend to take along as group activities. For example and I’ll go from dumb to worst I hope you have some better suggestions, there are things like potholder crafts, paint by number kits, jewelry projects, and many more than I’m sure I know nothing about but it should. They should be fairly simple and fun and not too dumb. Please provide any recommendations at all. We’re going to be in Santa Fe if that makes any difference, we could take advantage of the local landscape for any projects.
