Hi all, desperate need of advice. I got a lawyer and filed for a divorce, my husband is contesting it. My lawyer is telling me that for me to find out what he is contesting I will need to pay another retainer. At this point I don’t have the money to pay anymore. Is there a way I can request whatever my husband filed on my own without my lawyer? Should I have received any paperwork from my husbands lawyer? We are located in NY. Thank you.
