My roommate never takes the trash out. I’m always the one doing it, and if the trash can is full, instead of taking it out and replacing the liner, he’ll just leave his trash on the floor next to the can.
He also leaves food sitting out in the living room, and his trash piles up on the coffee table to the point where I can’t even use it. I’ve ended up cleaning up after him, because I don’t want it attracting pests.
Lately it’s been very frustrating because I’ve been working a lot of 10–12 hour shifts, and I come home exhausted to a mess that I didn’t make. He only works around 28 hours a week, so he has a lot more free time than I do, but still doesn’t clean up after himself.
I’ve also had issues with him constantly hogging the TV in the living room to the point where I only really get to use it maybe once a week on a day that he works and I dont.
I’m autistic and not good at speaking up about things, so ive just been putting up with it. But its coming to a boiling point for me.
