I’m working on Islebound, a strategy game that runs entirely in your browser.
The Pitch: Survive, Evolve, Escape. In this 3D browser-based strategy game, you manage a colony on dying islands. Your goal: collect enough resources to reach the next wave of islands before the Swarm overwhelms you or the land becomes completely barren. Adapt or perish.
Key Features:
- Expansion vs. Survival: Balance your base expansion against a creeping soil infertility mechanic.
- Colony Defense: Fend off increasingly aggressive waves of monsters (The Swarm).
- DNA Adaptation: You don't just build; you must rewrite your colony’s DNA to survive the challenges of future islands.
- Zero Installation: Built with Three.js, the game launches instantly in your browser.
I’m currently looking for players to help test the balancing, resource management, and find any sneaky bugs. This is a passion project, so any and all feedback is welcome!
PS: It’s probably full of bugs, but at least you can enjoy my own voice acting sadly in french for the sound
