I (22f) met luke(m) jade(22) &Mimi (25). We all became friends at work. Our general manager was very disorganized so Mimi and I left as well as another associate
During this time we had a group chat where we would talk daily. It was a good feeling to me bc I had seen them as like my brothers and sisters. We always joked and ragebaited a couple times. We would mostly hang out at Mimi’s place bc it was in between all of our places. Luke could walk to her house while Jade lived on campus so we would also take her to and from work till she had left for vacation. After coming back from that vacation we couldn’t give rides anymore bc our job took up our time to take her. My partner (22m) had let her know before hand. I would like to preference by saying I was the only one in the group with a car. So we would be using my car to do things. I noticed that after I left the job the group chat was less and less. And eventually no one talked in it anymore. I continue talking in the group chat bc I love to ramble and send funny videos but it was kinda dead. I had talked with my other friends from a different group and they told me a lot of ppl where failing their class so I texted the group chat if everyone was still alive and to which Mimi had said yes. I said good and if there were any crash out lately as Mimi has been dealing with work and would always tell us about her crash outs all the time so I wanted to check in and be filled in with what I missed out on. I also said that I heard people were failing their class and to which Mimi said okay. The only people that were talking in this chat were just me and Mimi at this point. So I asked if she was passing and she was very direct saying it doesn’t matter. I asked if she was okay because she usually never types the way she does, like this isn’t her usual pattern so I thought something happened. She had then said, Did I tell you shit the test cause I don't remember. Now after this I stoped talking. I don’t know if I did something wrong as the chat was dying and I wasn’t as active as I was back when I was working with them but I was still trying to be just as involved bc again I did see them as family with how we all clicked with eachother. This conversation happened in Feb 26 and after that no one in the group chat talked since then
