My husband has lived in the UK for 19 years. He is a South African citizen and has indefinite leave to remain. We are both 22 years old and got married 2 years ago. We have been working very hard to achieve this huge goal so we can live together and start a family one day.
He is a self employed courier driver so we are counting on his previous tax year 25/26 for the financial requirements. He has earned well over £45k and Net profit is about £29k
We are stressing about this though as the way we reached that Net profit is that our accountant moved some of his expenses into the next tax year 26/27.
We just want to know in detail, what the UK immigration will be looking for concerning the financial requirements?
Do you think that our financial requirements would still be met, especially if his actual income is well over £45k for the year?
