Where shall I go on the LNER network?
My partner and I had a hellish journey to London Kings X from Leeds, where instead of taking 2 hours it took almost 8 - involving medics being called for those who fainted and struggled due to heat.
Long story short, LNER have offered us a refund of our tickets plus two return first class tickets to anywhere on the LNER network. Where would you go from Leeds for an overnight or two night stay? I've done all the touristy stuff in London and don't feel like going back any time soon, and I love Edinburgh but also seen a lot of it.
Recommendations would be appreciated!
