Hi all,
I am about to renovate my bathroom and could really use your design wisdom. The tiles are a cool mid-grey (floor + shower walls), and unfortunately they’re staying, so I’m trying to work with them rather than fight them.
For years I’ve dreamed of an electric blue bathroom, like a blue Majorelle, maybe with yellow and teal accents.
I’ve also considered softer pastel tones, but I’m concerned they might look washed out or a bit sad against the grey.

I am changing: vanity (something more modern, likely light colour, I am open to paint it), mirror, toilet, bath screen, vinyl soft tiles on the floor(haven’t picked a design yet, open to patterns or plain).

Is there a way to make electric or saturated blue work with these tiles?

Are pastels a bad idea here, or is there a version that actually sings with grey?

What about a green, plants and natural colours theme?

Any unexpected colour pairings that would complement the tiles instead of dulling the room?

Should I lean warm to balance the cool grey, or double down on cool tones?

I’d love suggestions that feel a bit bold or personality filled. I’m not afraid of colour, just afraid of getting it wrong and ending up with a sad little room.
Photos attached for context. Thank you!
