I'm not judging anybody, but frankly if all you wan from a homebrew is escape Sony's new fuck ups and have a system YOU can control, not being controlled by Sony, even windows and microslop BS are still a more customizable, more reliable operating system than Sony's, that's not talking about Linux, and steam is a whole other point. I know there's a learning curve but won't it be better to learn on this newer, more maintained tech than an outdated console system?

I see a lot of people using steam tools but it seems really sketchy, can someone explain how does it work and why people may prefer this method over a normal crack?

I need to know which distro is best for my system, i have a RTX 2060 super and a Ryzen 7 2700, I have very little experience with linux and looking for something simple, gaming is my top priority. Thanks.
