Re:Zero is a master piece.
Soo I recently said fuck it and started reading rezero , because I kept it on my list. I'd previously watched it till like 15th, 16th episode, pretty much before the Whale battle, and my god, was I actually blown away by how good the series actually is. Okay I'm gonna go on a tangent here, just talking about the series:
It's delicately crafted. Right from the beginning, to the latest episodes, there's multiple incidents(satella=emilia(?), shaula knowing english slang, al, anastasia, flugel), which seem far too suspicious, allowing for a HORDE of fan theories, which I love personally. The anime is far too gruesome, but that pales in comparison to what Tappei(the author) has written in the books.
The Books.
I don't think there's anyone that can write chapters so fluently, and that describe the mental psyche of a human so vividly, the intricacies of human nature. He blends psychological horror + obscure situations+ the world building of magic, and it all blends so well, I'm just shocked. I started reading from volume 22(couldn't wait for next weeks episodes), and I didn't regret it one bit. Show not tell? Yeah, this guy invented it. Once you start reading his novel, you'll realize why it was adapted from novel to a light novel to a fricking anime.its just that good. I've heard some more insane stuff reaching arc 10, but I'm currently on arc 6 rn, so I know it'll only keep getting better.
