has anyone gotten offers from companies yet. i feel like all the jobs are towards software eng or business and there’s nothing for my major. i’ve tried and tailored my resume to each company i’ve applied to but im still worried i won’t get anything
im a university student with a decent amount of experience in my field and as well as entry level roles. the current job i have is barely giving me hours (literally shifts less then 4 hours once or twice a week) because the sales are bad. i dont want to go back to my old job i had in high school because i left to move on and find better opportunities. i just finished a research placement and i applied to lots of co-op and internship jobs since jan but didnt get anything. i have since been looking for entry level roles at a restaurant or retail and i haven’t been able to land anything either. every manager i talk to seems to really like me and then i never get a call back to later here they’re prolonging hiring or hired someone else. i just dont know what to do anymore and i feel so helpless. i spent a lot of my teen years to gain experience so i wouldnt have to struggle as much in this job market but it actually feels impossible. if anyone also has any tips in landed a entry level or research role at any hospital (princess Margaret/uhn/trillium) and could let me know that would be great. or if anyone knows anywhere in the GTA hiring right now that would be great.
