Hello friends. Here is the situation;

I am going to a meeting for SW that is over an hour away. I am being told that I can either get my mileage reimbursed or get paid my hourly rate to travel to the meeting.

We are all meeting at the store, and commuting to the meeting. If I am the one driving 3 of my coworkers, how is it fair that I only get the mileage reimbursed, when they are getting paid their hourly rate to sit in my car? Shouldn't I receive my mileage reimbursement plus my hourly pay to drive everyone? Gas is expensive, and I'm confused about how that makes sense. Thank you in advance.
