I love my Clover Amour hooks, I have the set of 9 from sizes 2-6mm (I would like to get the smaller size too sometime but I don't do smaller crochet enough to justify it yet).

Besides the 6mm, my next biggest hook is a 10mm (just a cheap plastic one, but it works well), but that's a bit jump between sizes, so I would like to get 6.5, 7 etc.

My question is, I know the Clover Amour hooks work really well because of the metal they use or the coating on it, and I know the 6.5 and up are made of plastic. Are their plastic ones just as good (or better than most plastic would be), or do I might as well find cheaper ones because it makes no difference?
