APS woes

So I recently got a little minolta vectis variant to add to the collection and just can't get over how cool and compact it is. I know APS is dead and all but it really sucks having so many unique/weirdly designed compact point and shoots going to waste out there(some with pretty decent lenses and specs too!)

I don't know if it's just me but I have dreams of some mad basement scientist finding a modern work around that will allow me to use my little APS collection 😅

if there is such a scientist out there who's working on this I'd love to know more!

A blast from the past

A blast from the past

So I just picked up this surprisingly clean and functional(for being over 100 years old) Kodak 2A Brownie Pocket camera for 40$ today and when I met up with the guy he also had an unopened roll of 116 Verichrome Pan that expired in 59'. I originally planned to clean it up and just display it but now I feel obligated to shoot the roll.

(TLDR)

My question is, does anyone have any tips/experience they could share in regards to shooting this and getting something out of it.

Thanks!

Also just something cool I found out, the patent stamped on the inside begins back in 1894. Wild that something this old is still functional
